Ebba Jahn

Ebba Jahn has worked with improvising musicians since she became an improvising filmmaker in the last century. Over the last three years she has been inspired to work as a recycling video artist. She creates short videos with original sounds and contemporary music, from own, given, and found visual materials.
These short films are shown by intl. film festivals, in art exhibitions and have been part of the Mopomoso Digital program from the very beginning.
In 2021 the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, Berlin  awarded her a juried work scholarship for female film/videomakers, which allows her the ability to volunteer alongside the Mopomoso Crew.

Paul Jolly

By chance, in 1964, the legendary pianist Mel Davis taught at my school.  In 1969 I joined Mel’s revolutionary ‘People Band’ and to date remain committed to both that beautiful band and the wider improvised music community

Charlotte Keeffe

Improvising trumpeter and flugelhorn player Charlotte Keeffe can be heard making all sorts of sounds here;  & here; Charlotte loves being part of the Mopomoso TV team seeking video contributions, co-presenting the episodes and coming up with moptail recipes to accompany each instalment that match the colour of John’s suit!

…Charlotte Keeffe’s blood-red, rasping flugelhorn and trumpet blew breathy cadences and messages as if her lungs were burning with an electricity all of her own.’
